Prof. Ana Mestrovic, PhD is a female senior academic and internationally recognized researcher in artificial intelligence with a primary focus on natural language processing, semantic technologies, and complex network analysis, whose work strongly contributes to data-driven sensing, information interpretation, and intelligent systems. Her educational background culminated in a doctoral degree earned at the University of Rijeka, which established her foundation in advanced computational methods and interdisciplinary AI research. She currently serves as a Full Professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Digital Technologies, University of Rijeka, where she holds key leadership roles as Head of the Laboratory for Semantic Technologies and Head of the Laboratory for Complex Networks at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Prof. Ana Mestrovic, PhD has produced more than 60 Scopus-indexed publications and over 100 total scholarly works, accumulating more than 700 citations across over 570 citing documents, with an h-index of 13 and a verified, demonstrating strong academic impact.
