Prof. Emmanuel Chapron is a highly respected sedimentologist and Professor of Universities (exceptional class) in the field of Geography, specializing in environmental geosciences and sedimentary processes. He obtained his Ph.D. in Earth Sciences from the University of Lille 1, focusing on lacustrine sedimentology and the reconstruction of long-term environmental and climatic changes.
