Dr. Shaokun Yang is a male researcher and academic specializing in geotechnical engineering, particularly focusing on the mechanical behavior of soft soil foundations and innovative reinforcement and treatment techniques. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Donghua University and currently serves as a Lecturer at the Army Engineering University of PLA, where he has been selected as a Military Youth Science and Technology Talent Cultivation Candidate. His professional experience spans multiple national and international research projects, including four funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, consultancy projects in applied civil and military engineering, and active engagement in the development of engineering standards. Dr. Shaokun Yang has successfully completed five major research projects and has contributed to the creation of eight patents, demonstrating strong applied innovation and technical problem-solving skills. His research interests include soft soil mechanics, foundation stabilization, geotechnical reinforcement, soil-structure interaction, and advanced instrumentation for soil monitoring.
