Mr. Niranjan D K is an Assistant Professor and emerging researcher in Electronics, Embedded Systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) Security, currently affiliated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru. He is also an International Researcher (I²CoST Fellow) at the Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, Italy, collaborating with European experts on secure Internet of Vehicles (IoV) using LoRa-based communication and hardware-level security mechanisms. With over three years of academic and research experience, he has published approximately 10 peer-reviewed conference papers in IEEE and Springer venues and holds four published Indian patents, with additional patents under review, reflecting strong innovation and translational research capacity. His work addresses real-world challenges in connected transportation, healthcare IoT, and emergency systems, contributing to safer and more resilient cyber-physical infrastructures. His research has clear societal impact through applications in smart mobility, healthcare, and secure embedded technologies.
