Professor Reuben Jih-Ru Hwu is a Distinguished Chair Professor Emeritus with Lifetime Honor at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1982 and served as a faculty member at The Johns Hopkins University from 1982 to 1991.
