Nam-Ho Kim, a distinguished academic and industry leader, currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Honam University. With an impressive educational background, he earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering from Chonnam National University in February 1990, followed by a Master of Engineering in Information and Communication Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology in August 1997. Dr. Kim further advanced his expertise by obtaining a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Chonnam National University in February 2013.Dr. Kim began his professional career in April 1991 as a Senior Researcher at POSCO-DX, where he contributed to significant research and development initiatives until February 1998. His transition to academia commenced in March 1998 when he joined Honam University, where he has been educating future engineers and conducting cutting-edge research for over two decades. His dedication to the field has been recognized by MARQUIS Who’s Who, which endorsed him as an industry leader in 2019.
