Professor Jiaxuan Yang is a distinguished academic in the field of Transportation Engineering, specializing in Traffic Information Engineering & Control as well as Traffic Safety & Environment. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering (2003) and Ph.D. in Traffic Information Engineering & Control (2008) from Dalian Maritime University, where he has served as a faculty member of the Navigation College since 2008. Since July 2021, he has also held the position of Deputy Dean at the university’s Graduate School. Professor Yang has enriched his academic perspective through international research experiences as a visiting scholar at Lehigh University in the United States (2017) and the World Maritime University (2016).
